Krabi - Thailand : Best moments part 1

We also took one day trip to do kayaking , to visit the sea caves , and we also did elephant trekking. Anyway why go Thailand if we can't see the magnificent and the most important animal for the Thai people? :)

This experience is amazing . I love it ! To be able to paddle the kayak in the river stream , between the mangroves and to go inside the caves , and to see the amazing stalactites ! And to paddle the kayak/canoe is one work out that is best to tone up your upper body muscles! Yeah, we do felt it the day after! ^_^

We started by taking the long tail boat from Railey to Ao Nang. From there the tour guide pick us and we drove to do the kayaking. We did about 2 km of kayaking for about 3 hours. It was divided in to 2 parts, before lunch we went to 2 caves and paddles about 1.5 km, we also visit the rubber plantation and then we had lunch by the river .

Getting ready and all excited!!

And the journey began....

Indy and our guide.

Can you see the shape of this lime stones? YUP.... it looks like an elephant!!

After we got more energy we did the second part , to visit to another caves, and one National Park where the Thailand's Archeologist found the pre historic painting on the Cave's wall. It is believed that the cave was the home of the pre historic people long time ago.

About to enter the sea caves, in the middle it was so dark I can't barely see a thing. Maya was nervous and scared the first time we entered the cave.
After dark....there comes the light! :) We can see the other end of the cave!

The beautiful view

It is not easy to paddle with a toddler sit in front of you :). I need to positioned the paddle not so close to me as it will knock Maya's head .

In the " secret" lagoon. So peaceful and quiet.

Can you see the painting on the wall?

And guess what? Yeah... my digital camera battery died on me! GRR!!! @#$@#$@... I didn't took the painting photos.

Us with other 2 people in our small group

We also had a fresh young coconut here. So fresh and cooling !

Maya and Jojo our guide.

From there we went to the natural swimming pool ( fresh water) . You can swim with the fish and the water is so refreshing!

He shares the same birthday with the Tarzan of the Apes not for nothing!

Maya and Indy loves it!

Yohooo!!!
After that we went to the Elephant camp to do one hour elephant trekking into the jungle! The elephants even walk in the small river stream, and the slope is very slipper and steep. I must make sure I don't fall and I must keep Maya too! Indy on the other hand was so relax and didn't even hold on to a thing ( only when the elephant walked down the slope)

Maya moved to sit on the top of the Elephant's head. When we went to a slope I asked her : Maya are you ok? She said : I am Ok ,Ma!!
She gave the elephant praise when the elephant passed the slope : good girl!! good job!!!

Feeding the Ellie!
Indy in close encounter with the Giant Mammals. She said thank you to "her" elephant for a great ride and said bye bye and please don't forget me! I told her that Elephant has a great memory from all the animals.
