Adam Lambert: The performances Season 8

Personally my MOST favourite singer. Totally hypnotized by this guy. He is such an inspiration to many. Probably the only Idol contestant ever to be in the cover of Entertainment Weekly before the Finale. The most exciting Idol contestants ever in years.
Though he is not everybody "cup of tea" But... we can't deny that this guy has made an IMPACT Globally. He is not the winner this season but he is the only one that people will remember far from today.

He is already dominating the entertainment news. Make every day shows much more fun.
There are rumours of him that will sing for QUEEN or will he answer" the question" in the ROLLING STONES magazine ( He will be in the Cover!!).Seriously, like does he NEED to answer that question? Like Kara said: Adam never be in the closet.

Not to disrespect other contestants and their fans, but we must admit , the only one that we really wait for was ADAM's performance. Because beside his voice and moves, we want to see his clothes, hair style, or whether he will use eyeliner or black nail polish this week?

What my girls know about her mom

Saturday afternoon, Indy draw something in her room. She said it was a surprise for me.

So after she is done, she came to me and asked me to guess what it is.

She gave me one clue:

Something that Mamma likes!

My first guess:

SHOES?

NOPE.....

BAG??

NOPE!!!!

So what is that???

She gave me another clue : It is "human"

So .... I took a wild guess:

IS IT VAMPIRE???????????

This is the meadow with Edward and Bella. She tried to write "vampire" on the top, but she can't spell it yet. :). Those 3 on the back are the other vampire ( Alice, Rosalie, and Emmet I guess?haha)

Stand up for ourselves VS Judgemental

Insipired by emails from my family and by most of life's experience.

What is the different between stand up to my self and being judgemental?

I always believe we must stand up for our own self , our own beliefs, opinion or point a view. But not being jugmental to others with different beliefs, opinions, point of views than us .

I am not going to talk about religions over here. As I believe ( and my parents taught me ) no religion wants to teach the people to do wrong things. It a mixture of personal background, education , view in life , that can determine someone's act. Not just religion it self.

Same goes with race. Though in our socieaty just because one orange is sour , we tend to judge the whole basket of oranges are all sour . Which is not true.

Let's start with parenting style. I am sure every one have their own parenting skills/style. But doesn't mean those who has different parenting style with me are wrong.

I am pro breastfeeding 100%, and try to encourage people to do it, but if I know one mom who doesnt breastfeed , I will not think that she is a bad mom either. People have the right to choose.

I am not pro abortion, but if someone I know choose that, It is their life and I won't judge them. It is just something I won't do. But again they don't live my live , vice versa.

Just because I use cloth diapers, doesn't mean that other moms who use disposable are wrong.

I am 100% pro cloth diapering, and support it , that is obvious :). But I won't make negative comments or sacrastic comments on someone who doesn't use that. I will give some informations about that, explain the benefits and all, but at the end of the day, it is up to them to choose.

I will not do piercing beside ear piercing, but that doesn't mean those with piercing are negative people. Same with tattoo. I don't think I will ever do it, but some one with tattoo is cool for me .

I do not eat certain food, but I won't make disgusted faces if someone eat something that I don't like. ( except if they eat dogs or cat or scorpions . YIKES :D )

I don't go to church ( often) , but that doesn't mean I am bad person. I believe in my religion, and I pray and the most important I try to do a right gestures to other, to show that I care, to do something that I can for help.

Same with someone vegetarian, if other are not vegetarian, they shouldn't make face when others eat meat.

Same goes with someone sexuality. I am more into honestly and expecting themself and feel comfortable in their own skin.Again it is all go back to each individual.

How many of us ever witness the hypocrite in the society? Or with the news we read in the newspaper? Someone who looks so wise and religious , did something outrageously wrong ?Someone respectfull in the community rape his own niece? Some politician who againts gay marriage turned out to be gay himself?

Or someone to be appread like no body did some heroic act ?

So there is a line between stand up to yourself and being judgemental .

What is my concern is that now a days the children are being judgemental. The wants to fit in the " social life". Parents want their kids to fit nicely in the "box". Make the children think , that someone who lives or has a point a view outside the "box" are bad and should be made fun of.

It is important to teach our children to stand up for their opinion and the most important to themself, never afraid to express themself in positive way, be who they are as person. It is important to teach them the value of " respecting" others. It is more important than to be the number in the class , or to be the prettiest, most fashion forward kid in the class. Again... not to say that the number 1 in the class, the prettiest, or the most fashion forward kid in the class are wrong ....

If there's anything that can come from this experience I hope that all the fans out there can pick up that even if you're really different there's a way to get along with each other! Finding the common stuffs that we have and make it works!

Isn't something we can apply in our daily life? I think it is totally true.

About gay thing? Not interested about that, we are MONTHS pass over that topic! Let's move on!

Whooo.... can I tone up my upper body , no need to be slim. Just tone up a bit, specially tummy? It is the hardest part of my body to tone up!

The Kris and Adam duet was highly anticipated. “We Are The Champions’ is a great song, figuratively, and musically, for them. Why did Queen agree to be on American Idol? Two word answer: Adam Lambert! The songs words are meaningful, as both Kris and Adam are champions in very different ways. Kris is because he got the ‘title’, for whatever reason, but Adam is the ultimate champion because his megatalent will propel him to the iconic status predicted by Paula. In my opinion, this performance is on par or even better than the Allison and Adam duet. Maybe it’s just that whoever you put Adam with, ends up shining. What does that say about Adam’s professionalism? His fans applaud him for stepping back and letting Kris have some of the spollight. Kris did better than ever and I know it’s because of being with Adam. Adam motivates, encourages, and enhances his partner. He is the ultimate professionaI and I adore him even more for not stealing the show, but for making it a cooperative team effort. I absolutely, positively, totally loved ,loved, loved this. Great choice of song, of guest artist, and of utilizing Adam’s talents to the max..

So the winner is .....

Though that I am upset and disappointed, but I couldn't hate Kris, I think that is why he won?
He is just a sweet guy, a down to earth,guy next door type you will like, and he is a great singer/artist. BUT..... Adam is an exceptional singer/artist. He is over the top with this eyeliner, and mascara and the costume, but like he said " he is what he is" .
Being said just after the finale result , that if he won, people will say well that is because he is gay, and if he lost , they will say again that is because he is gay... What is Adam's reaction?
He laughed and just said " Is that what they're gonna say? [Laughs] Those blogs have a lot of opinions, don't they? [Laughs] I think that Kris won because he's a great artist and I was happy to be a runner-up to that."

What's your goal now?
My dream now is to make a really dope record. Do something new. Push the boundaries a little bit. Push people's buttons. Open people's minds up a little bit. If there's anything that can come from this experience I hope that all the fans out there can pick up that even if you're really different there's a way to get along with each other. We did the Queen duet and we made it work because we found a common ground with each other.

VERY WELL SAID!!!!! GO ADAM !!! He is not your ordinary Idol, He is one Extra-ordinary !

I wish Adam could get the Title of the American Idol because he is an IDOL already. But I am sure we gonna see alot of him in the future .

Today Finale is the best so far. A great show, great performances......

But it killed me at the end with the result. I don't hate the other guy. He got a pleasant voice but not but not an exceptional voice!So I think the other one should've WIN!

And don't you ever dare to bring the sexuality issue over this one! TRY ME!
Anyone try to offend the sexuality of a very talented guy is the absolute narrow minded person.
Just get over it...!

Anyway.... He will be great even without the " Title". And he will make a great album, his voice is undeniable extra ordinary. He is Fearless, and he is unique.He might not be you "guy next door" or " sweet kind of guy" or just "plain regular guy". He is an ICON.

Try to catch a glimpse of Simon Cowell Expression! He is totally bummed too!

I am happy and proud for him to reached this far....
And I am waiting for his single and album soon....


Still it brings my mood to a very low level. I never want anybody particular to win on Idol so badly as this one.

Adam lambert on Finale...

Who gonna bring home the title this year? Adam or Kris?
Big question will be reveal tomorrow.

I agree with Paula Abdul : Adam Lambert will be an ICON! Yes he will or already is!
Even the "Sour" Simon Cowell said that Adam is the best and most original contestant ever on the show!
But again anything can happen during American Idol. Those who are Pro GOKEY will vote for Kris this time. And there is the risk for Adam.

I am impressed. My favorite is this one : ( And Randy Jackson commented that it reminds him of Twilight, which I think it is ! It is abit of vampire-ish, dont you think? :) )
And who doesn't love a ( HOT) guy in a suit? A nice cut of suit but not everyone can pull up a look with head to toe silver like Adam Lambert could! He wore this during the performance of " A Change is gonna come"

I am singing in the rain...

As an adult:

... if it is too hot and never rain we complaint.If it is rain for too long we also complaint....Our laundry are still all wet, can't go outdoor and play...


As a kid:
.....too hot we can play on the sand , outdoor, or playground.... when it is raining...still can go out and play. Put on some rubber boots if you will, umbrella or your raincoat. And splash in to the puddle!

Parenting note:
Will they will be sick if play under the rain?
I just think since flu is caused by influenza virus and not the rain. So for me it is fine.
But if you are playing with the rain in the same time when you are exposed to the virus then there is the chance for you to get flu.
Another thing is that don't go with wet body inside an air con room. Dry your self thoroughly.
I believe that if we let our kids to be expose to rain , there will be less chances for them to be sick from it. :)
Just see those villagers kids who enjoy rain so much and won't end up in the Pediatrician office the next day with a week course of antibiotic?

Mother's Day weekend

During Mother's Day weekend,my husband managed to take 2 days off. Sunday and Monday. And we decided to went to Kudat, again. :)

And he got surprise for me , a cake ( not nice because bought last minute in the shop) and the other is : that he will stop to smoke for me! huh.. I was like expecting something more tangible present for my self?

But I think, it is nice for him, to be determined to stop to smoke starting on Mother's Day.
Now it is still too early to tell the result, we see how it goes, I hope it will be permanent !
I will be so proud of him if he really stop to smoke.
After nearly 10 years of marriage I never ask him or persuade him to stop smoking, neither that I encourage him. Because I believe, like anything else, it MUST come from himself, his own will . No matter how much I nag , if he still want to smoke , he can just do it behind my back.
Hmm .... I shall give you all the update about this stop smoking thing later on..Hopefully it is a positive update!
