Last year on November, I still remember I was still apartment hunting, boxes sorting, and has mixed feeling because I must left my second adapted city : Kota Kinabalu .. And now... it 's been almost a year later!
I've not been blogging too much lately. I still try to do some mini blogging and mainly just update here and there on Facebook.But I think I can share more in my blog right! :)
Oh well I just realized I haven;t blog about Indy's bday here! Will put that on my "to do list" this week! :)
So where did the whole October went to? Well it is a pretty busy month! First it is my birthday months! Yup... And I celebrated it with my parents and family in Jakarta! I could not remember when did the last time I celebrate it with my family, since I live far from them for 12 years now. I had a traditional Indonesian Tumpengan. YUMMY!!! I am proud of Indonesian culinary !
We stayed in Jakarta for about 2 weeks in the mid of October. The girls of course had a blast! No school, with cousins to play, aunts to spoiled them, great food and plenty of attention for them too. And I managed to meet up with some of my dearest friends from high school. It was hard just to gather a few people to meet up due to work, schedule,traffic etc. But we did it! And it was fun!!! There is nothing like meet up with great good friends to catch up and we laughed until my face hurt!And it was GREAT FUN for me too! To meet up with my dearest sisters and brother!
And then there is Halloween too yesterday. I did not celebrate it too much, no trick or treat for us. But I use that holiday for a chance for the kids to dress up in their favorite characters. We did not see it as the part of Evil non religious kind of thing. We do not serve the evil /devil in any way, but it was just fun to dress up like princesses for them right? Indy is the Ariel from little mermaid, and Maya is the snow white! I think it is so cute to see babies dressed up in costume! We went to a Saturday brunch at our favorite German restaurant, with live music ( playing Justin Bieber songs to the children delight!) and there was bouncy castle, art and craft corner , and buffet for kids and adult with a very reasonable price but with GREAT selection of food ( cost me Rm 20 for kids buffet can you believe it?)
On another note , I've been busy with Indy's home school, and girl scouts too. She is taking tennis lesson twice a week , and she will visit the Museum of the contemporary art for field trip this month! And Maya is doing good at school too.
And November is going to be another exciting months! The girls have 2 of their closest friend's b 'day !And they are super excited for that. And then there will be December! Wohoo... me and my husband are so excited about the wintery Christmas that the girls gonna have this year! Since last year we are in the middle of moving here, we didnt have any trees , so this year we gonna make it extra special! We even have our advent calendar already! One for each girl! There will be Christmas bazaar, and party and dinner too!
And I m taking yoga class as well, I met a few new nice people from all over the world. And I m thinking about taking Zumba too! Any thought on that? LOL
I think I like to explore around, meet up some new people, to get new ideas, new inspiration ( one of my closest friend here will join the Shanghai Marathon and that inspire me to do more work out instead of just talking non sense and watch tv ! hahah) . I am not desperate to make new friends but I dont want to be the person to said : my life is boring and do nothing about it! I go out, meet some people and find interest things to do! Boring or not... it is your life and you decide!
