Doulos
I love books. So when I heard from Miranda that there is a floating book shop called MV Doulos will be in KK for a few days before it will sail again, my reaction was : I must go !
Lucky that I still got the chance to go one time to Doulos, just before I will go to China . I would prefer , of course, If I can go 2 times so I can buy more books. :)
So I took Indy together with me. I think this can be the chance of a life time to be in Doulos. Miranda picked me at my place and then we went straight a head to the floating book shop.
The selection of the books is HUGE. And the crowd was also HUGE. The price is very reasonable.
I don't know where to start, or what to choose, I feel like I want to buy everything!
At the end I took a couple of books for me: guide for e-commerce , homemade remedy, baby sleep book, and recipe books for my hubby. And Indy also took children bible , prayer book, Noah's ark, stickers, a cross to be hang in her bed room and a few other books for Maya.
The big drama of the day was: Indy broke her slipper, so we must tied it with rubber band, and she must walk slowly all the way to the parking lot , about 500 m. So from there we go to Karamungsing Komplex to buy her a new slipper and we had our lunch there .
Over all,I Love it. I wish I can still go to Doulos someday.
The ship will be in Papua New Guinea in March. And my best friend who live there, already got a BIG warning from me...that she MUST go!
